Behind the camera

Tilman Jäckle is a cinematographer who knows what a frame is for. A trained communication designer with years on the theatre stage, he understands how an image should say something, and when it should say nothing at all.

He works as a Director of Photography, or as a directing DP when a story needs one guiding eye. He shoots commercials and music videos with full conviction, and narrative with particular affection.

His specialities are underwater and aerial cinematography, which is to say he is at home wherever the camera is hardest to place.

He travels a great deal, and not reluctantly.
